Track Fast Facts
Located in Sparta, Kentucky, and constructed on 850 acres of land, Kentucky Speedway showcases the most prominent race series on its 1.5-mile tri-oval with 14-degree banking in the turns and a 1,600-foot backstretch. The tri-oval is 57-feet wide and includes a 12-foot apron. The facility also features a paved quarter-mile track.

Please inspect your tickets upon receipt and report any discrepancies to
Tickets.com at 888-652-7223 or the Kentucky Speedway Ticket Office at 859-578-2300. Please keep your tickets in a safe place. TICKETS WILL NOT BE REISSUED UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. Tickets obtained from sources other than Kentucky Speedway or Tickets.com may be lost, stolen or counterfeit and may not be honored. Kentucky Speedway and Tickets. com are not responsible for and will not replace lost, stolen, destroyed or misplaced tickets.

Kentucky Speedway has three easy ways for you to purchase race tickets:
- Call 888-652-7223, Monday through Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. (Eastern).
- Order and print your tickets online at www.kentuckyspeedway.com or www.tickets.com.
- Visit our Corporate Offices at 1 Speedway Drive, Sparta, Kentucky 41086. Please call 859-567-3400 for hours of operation. Ticket prices increase $5.00 on race day.
Children
Child Identification Armbands
Children may receive a free wristband at the Information and Guest Services Booths located in various locations throughout Kentucky Speedway. The band will help your child be located should you become separated.

Will Call and Ticket Delivery
Kentucky Speedway tickets shall be delivered as follows:
- Up to 10 days prior to an event weekend – U.S. Mail.
- Between 5-10 days out – UPS or FedEx.
- Less than 5 days out – Pick-up at Will Call.
Ticket Will Call Window is located outside of Gate #15. A PHOTO ID IS REQUIRED TO CLAIM TICKETS.
Ticket Policies
Refund Policy
Kentucky Speedway DOES NOT ISSUE REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON. Tickets issued for a postponed event will be honored on the rescheduled date.
Rescheduling Policy
Raincheck – No money refunded. In the event of postponement, ticket holder will be granted admission on the date the event is held.
Re-Entry
Guests may use their race ticket to exit and re-enter the facility unlimited times during our race events. Tickets must be scanned upon exiting and re-entering the facility.
Scalping
We prohibit the resale of tickets, at any value, on the Kentucky Speedway property. If you are unable to use your ticket(s), do not attempt to sell the ticket(s) on Speedway property. The sale of Kentucky Speedway tickets or credentials on Speedway grounds is in violation of Kentucky Law (KRS 518.070). (Tickets and credentials will be confiscated and the seller(s) will be removed from Speedway property.)
Security at Ticket Gates
ALL CARRY-IN BAGS, BLANKETS, SLEEPING BAGS AND SIMILAR ITEMS ARE SUBJECT TO SEARCH BY KENTUCKY SPEEDWAY WHEN ENTERING THE FACILITY. Prohibited items (
SEE THE PROHIBITED ITEMS LIST) or contraband discovered during security inspections must be returned to the owner's vehicle or discarded.
ITEMS MAY NOT BE LEFT AT THE GATE. Unlawful items discovered during security inspections will be confiscated and reported to the legal authorities. Any prohibited item discovered inside Kentucky Speedway will be confiscated. Uniformed police officers and Speedway Security will be stationed throughout the facility to ensure your safety. Should you require assistance, please notify the nearest event employee. The appropriate person or agency will then be dispatched to your location.
Prohibited Items
Include but are not limited to the following:
- Aerosol cans
- Alcoholic beverages
- Animals (except for those assisting people with disabilities)
- Baby strollers
- Balloons or beach balls
- Beverage containers – except for one sealed 20 oz. or less plastic bottle of water
- Chairs of any kind
- Fireworks or missile-like objects
- Food prohibited
- Glass containers of any kind
- Illegal substances
- Laser pointers
- Noise making devices - bells, bullhorns, whistles and other items
- Projectiles of any kind
- Sticks, bats, poles or clubs
- Tripods
- Umbrellas
- Video or movie cameras
- Weapons: guns, knives, mace, handcuffs, nightsticks, blackjacks or other items
- Items that pose a safety hazard or may diminish from other fans enjoyment of an event
Kentucky Speedway reserves the right to add additional items to the prohibited items list at any time.
Alcohol Policy
If you choose to drink alcohol during your visit to the Speedway, please do so responsibly and be considerate of your fellow fans. You must be 21 years old and present a photo ID with proof of age when making your purchase. We reserve the right to refuse to serve alcoholic beverages to any person, for any reason, and will contact police if we believe you are acting in a manner that is contrary to the law or that may endanger yourself, others, or any property.
Cooler Policy
Fans can bring one 14-inch cooler and one carry-in item (i.e. backpack or purse) into Kentucky Speedway.
ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE NOT PERMITTED.* Coolers may contain unopened plastic bottles or aluminum cans (water or soft drinks) and food. All coolers and carry-in items will be inspected at the gates. Fans are encouraged to come through the gates at least one (1) hour prior to the green flag to allow for bags and coolers to be checked.
*Kentucky ABC law prohibits alcohol to be carried through Kentucky Speedway gates.
Golf Cart Policy
No personal golf carts are allowed on or around the Kentucky Speedway grounds, including all campgrounds.
Fan Zones, Clubs, Hospitality,
and Luxury Suites
Fan Zone and Prerace Concert Guidelines
Fans can get closer to the action by purchasing a Fan Zone Pass.
- Kentucky Speedway reserves the right to ask anyone to leave the Fan Zone area at any time.
- Kentucky Speedway reserves the right to deny the sale of Fan Zone or Prerace Concert Passes to any individual who violates Kentucky Speedway or NASCAR sanctioning rules or regulations.
Fan Zone Purchase Locations
Passes are available near the Pedestrian Tunnel entrance beneath the blue Indiana Tower Grandstand. Children must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Fan Zone Passes
Be part the action! See your favorite drivers and teams up close and personal! Gain access to the infield area surrounding Victory Lane and Pit Road. Be front and center during the pre-race festivities, including driver introductions, a pre-race concert and other live entertainment.

New Prerace/Concert Passes
- Prerace/Concert pass offers the same amenities as the Fan Zone pass with additional access to a designated area close to the main stage where you'll have a one-of-kind view of the Sprint Cup Series "Quaker State 400" driver introductions and our concert artist Clay Walker. Prerace/Concert Fan Zone pass holders must possess a race ticket to be admitted to the Speedway on race day.

- All children enjoying Fan Zone and Prerace/Concert Pass access must possess a race ticket and be accompanied by a paying adult.

Pit Road Club

Celebrate the inaugural NASCAR Sprint Cup "Quaker State 400" in first-class comfort with the best view in the house - The Kentucky Speedway's Pit Road Club. Watch all of the racing action from a 2-story balcony located right behind Pit Road. For $395.00 per ticket, you'll experience the heart pounding thrill of NASCAR Sprint Cup Racing from seats never-before-available to the general public. If you already ordered your "Quaker State 400" tickets, don't worry. You can upgrade that ticket for an additional $195.00.

Hospitality
Hospitality Village Parking and Check-In instructions will be included in each Hospitality Village Race Packet. Guests with the proper hospitality pass will be issued a wristband, which allows them to enter the village.

Suite Entrance
- Our suites are located above the main concourse. You must have the appropriate wristband and event suite ticket to enter the Suite Level. To receive the proper wristband, present your suite ticket at the Suite/Club Check-In area inside Gate 15. Suites will close 60 minutes following the conclusion of the day's final event.

Suite Elevators 9 and 10
- Elevators are located under the Suite Level for club and suite guests. Patrons must display proper Suite Level credentials to access the elevators.
Camping Information
Camping Rules and Regulations
We have established the following rules to help guests make the most of their race weekend experience. Your cooperation with our camping rules is essential to ensuring a safe and enjoyable stay.
- Kentucky Speedway, its representatives and contracted agents reserve the right to amend campsite rules and discourage behaviors which, in their judgment, detract from other guests' enjoyment of any event.
- Please review the following information carefully. Failure to comply with the stated and posted rules may result in expulsion from the facility.
- Corporate displays such as advertisements, banners and promotional vehicles are prohibited in all campgrounds. Kentucky Speedway reserves the right to remove people, vehicles, advertisements, banners and any item or person determined to be elements of corporate advertising / promotional campaigns at any time. Companies wishing to advertise with or promote at Kentucky Speedway may call 859-578-2328
- MOTORCYCLES THAT ARE NOT PRIMARY MODES OF TRANSPORTATION, ATVs, MINI-BIKES, DIRT BIKES, OFF-ROAD VEHICLES, PERSONAL GOLF CARTS, SCOOTERS, MOPEDS AND SKATEBOARDS ARE NOT PERMITTED AT ANY TIME UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE. KENTUCKY SPEEDWAY RESERVES THE AUTHORITY TO DENY ACCESS TO ANY VEHICLE AT ANY TIME.
- A Good Neighbor Quiet Policy will be in effect beginning at 12:00 a.m., or one hour after event completion, until 7:00 a.m.
- Campground check-in and set-up is NOT permitted beyond posted times.
- Unless you have a medical need or you receive permission from your neighbors, all generators are to be turned off during Good Neighbor quiet hours. You may be required to show proof of medical need for generator usage during quiet hours if applicable.
- Offensive signs, public intoxication and profanity will not be tolerated.
- Vehicle and camping equipment must not extend beyond assigned space.
- Fire and Safety personnel must be able to see in all camping areas for safety reasons.
- Fire Lanes must remain open at all times. Any vehicles blocking fire lanes will be towed at owner's expense.
- Grills are permissible, but must be removed after the event weekend.
- Fires are only permissible in Private Backstretch Campground, Millionaire's Row Campground, Lakeside Campground, Ponderosa, Bourbon Street and Hawk's Landing Campground. Fires must be above ground and in an approved container. Containers must be removed after the event weekend. Fires will NOT be permitted in the Infield Campgrounds at any time.
- State and county health rules must be obeyed. Waste and wastewater must be disposed of properly at one of our dumping stations or by calling Speedway Porta-Clean Services.
- Please place all trash in tied plastic bags and place bags in provided trash cans.
- Stage, stage lights, live bands and live DJs are prohibited.
- Deadly weapons, laser lights, fireworks and any other items determined to be dangerous to other guests or competitors are not permitted.
- Hot tubs and pools are prohibited.
- Pets are only permitted in the Private Backstretch, Millionaire's Row, Lakeside, Bourbon Street, Ponderosa, and Hawks Landing Campgrounds. Pets must be kept on a short leash at all times. Owners are responsible for waste.
Camping Check-In Times and Policy
June 28, 29, and 30:
- Open: Noon – Tuesday, June 26
- Close: 6:00 pm – Sunday, July 1
September 20, 21 and 22:
- Open: Noon – Wednesday, September 19
- Close: 8:00 p.m. – Friday, September 21
Private Backstretch RV Campground Rules
- Campers will enter through entrance 11 off of Speedway Blvd. and check-in at the guard post.
- RV camping credential must be visible.
- Tow car credential must be visible on tow car.
- Must provide Private RV Season Pass credential for redemption of 4 Season Individual admission passes/wristbands.
- Guest camping admission passes may be purchased in advance through Kentucky Speedway ticket office and upon check-in. Campers must provide Private RV Guest Pass (6) punch card to attendant as they will punch out the card in exchange for guest admission passes/wristbands.
- Upon completion of check-in, campers will be escorted by an attendant to camp-site.
- MOTORCYCLES THAT ARE NOT PRIMARY MODES OF TRANSPORTATION, ATVs, MINI-BIKES, DIRT BIKES, OFF-ROAD VEHICLES, PERSONAL GOLF CARTS, SCOOTERS, MOPEDS AND SKATE BOARDS ARE NOT PERMITTED AT ANY TIME UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE . - Generators are to be turned off during good neighbor quiet hours.
- Offensive signs, public intoxication and profanity will not be tolerated.
- Vehicle and camping equipment must not extend beyond assigned space.
- Fire and Safety personnel must be able to see in all camping areas for safety reasons.
- Fire Lanes must remain open at all times. Any vehicles blocking fire lanes will be towed at owner's expense.
- Grills are permissible, but must be removed after the event weekend.
- State and county health rules must be obeyed. Waste and wastewater must be disposed of properly at one of our dumping stations or by calling our onsite mobile service at 937-313-1654 or 606-622-6585.

- Deadly weapons, laser lights, FIREWORKS and any other items determined to be dangerous to other guests or competitors are not permitted.

- Only self-contained (equipped with running water, holding tanks, and sanitary plumbing) recreational vehicles are permitted in the campground.
- Limit one RV per campsite and a pass must be displayed at all times.
- Each guest must possess a pass regardless of age. Only those with the proper pass will be granted campground access – no exceptions.
- Tent camping is not allowed in the Backstretch.
- Campers will be limited to one tow vehicle per campsite. Tow vehicles must be parked in designated campsite spot or general parking.
- All RVs must park within the white lines set forth at their site. Parking outside the lines or parking parallel when the lines are perpendicular to the track is not permitted.
- No persons, blankets, chairs, or signage are permitted on grass banking. Violators will be subject to removal from the premises and termination of their season pass.
- Private RV admission pass (wristband) allows access to Infield Camping area. Grandstand entrance is permitted only with a valid grandstand ticket.
- Scaffolding must be safely attached to an RV.
- One pet is allowed per RV. Pets must be kept on a short leash at all times. Owners are responsible for removal of pet waste.
- Fires must be above ground and in an approved container. Containers must be removed after the event weekend.
- Kentucky Speedway, its representatives and contracted agents reserve the right to amend campsite rules and discourage behaviors which, in their judgment, detract from other guests' enjoyment of any event.

Infield RV Campground Rules
- Campers will enter through entrance 4 off Jerry Carroll Blvd. and into general parking Lot J during check-in process.
- RV camping credential must be visible.
- Tow car credential must be visible on tow car.
- Camping admission passes may be purchased in advance through Kentucky Speedway ticket office and upon check-in. Campers must provide Infield Pass (10) punch card to attendant as they will punch out the card in exchange for admission passes /wristbands.
- Upon completion of check-in campers will be directed into the infield through the tunnel entrance, and escorted by an attendant to camp-site.
- Trackside and Interior campsites may be reserved for a full season or single event in the Red, White or Blue Campgrounds. Campsites measure approximately 20 feet by 50 feet and do not include utility or water hook-ups.
- NO infield camping vehicles shall be permitted to leave infield for 90 minutes following the conclusion of the “Quaker State 400.”
- MOTORCYCLES THAT ARE NOT PRIMARY MODES OF TRANSPORTATION, ATVs, MINI-BIKES, DIRT BIKES, OFF-ROAD VEHICLES, PERSONAL GOLF CARTS, SCOOTERS, MOPEDS AND SKATE BOARDS ARE NOT PERMITTED AT ANY TIME UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE . KENTUCKY SPEEDWAY RESERVES THE AUTHORITY TO DENY ACCESS TO ANY VEHICLE AT ANY TIME.
- Tow vehicles must be parked in designated campsite spot or general parking.
- Campers will be limited to one tow vehicle per campsite. Tow vehicles must be parked in designated campsite spot.
- Guests purchasing or visiting an infield campsite must possess an individual infield camping pass, regardless of age, no exceptions.
- Only guests possessing an Infield or Private Backstretch camping wristband may visit a Trackside or Interior campsite.
- Guests wishing to view a race event from the grandstand must possess a valid grandstand ticket.

- Height regulation is 12' 6" feet. The height regulation is 10 feet for Trackside campsites in the Red Campground. Any structure higher than 12 6" feet - including flags and flag poles - must be removed during practice sessions, qualifying, prerace activities and race competition.

Millionaire's Row Policies
- Campers will enter via Jerry Carroll Blvd. and check-in at Millionaire's Row guard post.
- RV camping credential must be visible.
- Tow car credential must be visible on tow car.
- Upon completion of check-in, campers will be escorted by an attendant to camp-site.

Lakeside, Bourbon Street, Hawk's Landing & Ponderosa Campground Policies
- Campers will enter via Speedway Blvd. and check-in at the respective campground guard post.
- RV camping credential must be visible.
- Tow car credential must be visible on tow car.
- Upon completion of check-in, campers will be escorted by an attendant to camp-site.
- Please see also the General Camping rules of this Guide.
Emergency Assistance
To report an accident or emergency:
- Seek the nearest Kentucky Speedway representative or law enforcement officer immediately.
- Command Post: 859-567-3500 (Staffed at gate openings until 1 hour after gates close).
- Security: 859-567-3700 (available 24 hours).
- EMS/Fire: 859-567-3476 (available 24 hours).
Report exact location of the incident and any additional information to help emergency personnel to find the location as quickly as possible. Please allow emergency personnel to respond to incidents promptly and without interference. If you are injured, please allow staff (EMTs, First Aid staff, etc.) to attend to your needs and complete an accident report on your behalf.
The Kentucky Speedway has:

Visitor Information
Automated Teller Machines (ATMs)
For the convenience of our guests, ATM's will be clearly marked and will be located outside the main ticket booth at Gate 15, underneath the blue Indiana Tower, two (2) underneath the Kentucky Tower on the concourse, two (2) underneath the Ohio Tower on the concourse, one (1) on the mezzanine level of the Kentucky Tower, one (1) on the mezzanine level of the Ohio Tower, and in the infield.
Baby Changing Stations
Baby changing stations are available in every restroom on the concourse and in the Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana Towers.
Concessions
Concessions are available inside the facility and will open along with the gates.
Elevators
- Elevators 1 and 2: Kentucky Tower
- Elevators 7 and 8: Ohio Tower
- Elevators 9 and 10: Suites
- Elevator 11: Indiana Tower
Escalators
Escalators are located in our Pedestrian Tunnel, under the blue Indiana Tower, which provides access from the concourse to the Speedway infield. You must display the proper credential to enter the tunnel.
First Aid Stations
The Kentucky Speedway has:
- Three (3) physician staffed care centers open during posted gate opening and closing hours.
- Two (2) care centers are located on the concourse level, one (1) under the Kentucky Tower and one (1) under the Ohio Tower.
- The infield care center located inside the track is primarily for the drivers and team members, but will also treat spectator emergencies.
The Kentucky Speedway also has numerous first aid stations, medical carts and ambulances located on the concourse and mezzanine levels to assist in medical emergencies.

- Souvenir stands are located throughout the facility and in the infield building near the exit of the Pedestrian Tunnel.
- During race weekends, access to the Official Kentucky Speedway Gift Shop is by the on-site shuttle service only, due to parking limitations.

Scanner Rentals and Frequencies
Scanners, radio, and driver frequencies are available and may be purchased or rented from vendors on Souvenir Row.
Impound Lot
If your vehicle is towed, you will be able to claim it following the completion of each race event at the parking area near the Kentucky Speedway Operations Building.
Information/Guest Services
Our Information and Guest Services Booths are located in various locations throughout Kentucky Speedway. Guest service representatives will provide you with general information, assist in acquiring transportation, lost and found, and eventrelated services. Children's identification armbands also are available.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found will be submitted to the Information and Guest Services Booths located in various locations throughout Kentucky Speedway. All items will be held for 30 days pending their claim. We will return items if the claimant sends a letter describing the lost item. When ownership is confirmed, arrangements will be made for the return of found items. For information regarding lost and found articles, call Kentucky Speedway at 859-567-3400, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m.
Re-Entry
Guests use their race ticket to exit and re-enter the facility UNLIMITED TIMES during our race events. Tickets must be scanned upon exiting and re-entering the facility.
Driving Schools
Several driving schools will visit Kentucky Speedway to provide fans with the opportunity to drive a NASCAR Sprint Cup style stock car on our 1.5-mile tri-oval. Visit the "Track Info" page at

Track Tours
Your tour includes an up-close look at areas that are off limits to fans during race weekends. Tours are available year round, excluding event weeks, for $5.00 per person. Children under age 6 are admitted free. Please schedule your tour by calling 859-567-3517.

ADA Parking Service: Visitors planning to access designated Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) parking areas must provide all required documentation in accordance with KRS 189.456. Visitors with an ADA parking credential should enter the parking area at Entrance 7, off Jerry Carroll Blvd.
ADA Shuttle Service: An ADA van will be provided to escort disabled patrons possessing the proper credentials to their destination by calling 859-567-3500.
Emergency Assistance
To report an accident or emergency:
- Seek the nearest Kentucky Speedway representative or law enforcement officer immediately.
- Command Post: 859-567-3500 (Staffed at gate openings until 1 hour after gates close).
- Security: 859-567-3700 (available 24 hours).
- EMS/Fire: 859-567-3476 (available 24 hours).
Report exact location of the incident and any additional information to help emergency personnel to find the location as quickly as possible. Please allow emergency personnel to respond to incidents promptly and without interference. If you are injured, please allow staff (EMTs, First Aid staff, etc.) to attend to your needs and complete an accident report on your behalf.
Radio Broadcast Information
Information Radio 1620 AM: Fans within a five-mile radius of Kentucky Speedway can get the latest Speedway traffic and facility information by tuning to 1620 AM.
Public Address System on Radio (89.5 FM): Fans can tune to 89.5 FM on their radios to listen to the Kentucky Speedway public address system during our race events.
Kentucky Speedway events are broadcast nationally and locally on radio.
- Performance Radio Network (PRN) carries the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race (Quaker State 400) and the NASCAR Nationwide Series race (Feed The Children 300). Local affiliates include WCKY 1530 ESPN, Cincinnati, OH; WIKI 95.3 FM, Carrollton, KY; WSCH 99.3 FM Lawrenceburg, IN; WLRS-FM 105.1 Louisville, KY.
- Motor Racing Network (MRN) holds the rights to all NASCAR Camping events, July 7 and October 1. Local affiliates include WIKI 95.3 FM, Carrollton, KY; WSCH 99.3 FM Lawrenceburg, IN.
- IMS Radio Network is the rights holder for the IZOD IndyCar Series. Local affiliates include WCKY 1530 ESPN, Cincinnati, OH.
- All NASCAR and IndyCar Series races at Kentucky Speedway can also be heard on SiriusXM Radio. SiriusXM NASCAR Radio is Channel 90. XM Channel 94/Sirius 212 are the satellite channels for the IZOD IndyCar Series.
Fan Quick Tips
What to Wear and Pack
When going to a race think, comfort! You will be doing a lot of walking, so comfortable shoes are a must. Weather conditions change from track to track.
Always, always check the weather report before heading to a race.
It is a good idea to take a fanny pack or small backpack to carry track essentials.
Seat cushions are very handy and comfy for a long afternoon on the hard grandstands. Keeping your hands free is a must. You do not want to get caught carrying items around all day. Remember: Pack light, but do not cut back on your race day essentials, you won't be sorry!

How to "Fit In with the Crowd"
- Wear your favorite driver's name or likeness on a T-shirt.
- Stand up and cheer for your driver.
- Be respectful of others and their choice of drivers.
- Dress accordingly-wear casual, comfortable clothes and shoes.
