The first Legends Car was unveiled in April 1992 at Charlotte Motor Speedway and concept of creating a fun, affordable "spec" racing class for in which anyone could participate was born.

Legends cars are 5/8-scale fiberglass full-fendered versions of the famed NASCAR modifieds driven by legendary drivers such as Fireball Roberts, Buck Baker, Curtis Turner, Speedy Thompson and Banjo Matthews.

Legends Cars, Bandolero and Thunder Roadster cars are manufactured by U.S Legend Cars International Inc., and internationally sanctioned by INEX to provide a racing opportunity with strictly-enforced rules that ensure fair competition and cost control.

INEX sanctions a national series as well as a local series which competes on our quarter-mile track.
