Monster Trucks to Appear in Cincinnati and Louisville, Ky., this Week
High-horsepower Major League of Monster Trucks (MLMT) machines will gear up for their Oct. 13 Kentucky Speedway invasion presented by the Greater Cincinnati Ford Dealers by making several appearances and crushing cars in Cincinnati and Louisville, Ky., today through Friday.
Five Greater Cincinnati Ford Dealers will be abuzz with activity when they host Bigfoot car crush demonstrations this week. The world-renown truck will be on display from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and will perform a car crush demonstration at 5:30 p.m., on the following days at the following locations:

Also on Wednesday, Hot Tamale will visit Latonia Elementary School in Covington, Ky., at 3901 Huntington Ave., beginning at 10:00 a.m., to participate in a special Fire Prevention Week presentation complete with Sparky the Fire Dog and Kentucky Speedway's Horsepower mascot. The truck also will be on display at the Meijer at 4990 Houston Rd, in Florence, Ky., from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., that day. This Friday, Harley-Davidson of Cincinnati at 1799 Tennessee Ave., will play host to War Wizard from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Fans in Louisville, Ky., area will be able to catch a glimpse of the monster machines this week on the following dates at the following times:

The 8,500- to 11,000-pound trucks equipped with engines producing up to 2,200 horsepower will race side-by-side at more than 70 mph on a custom-designed dirt track with jumps, bumps and other obstacles this Saturday.
The MLMT Kentucky field will feature an unprecedented 17 monster trucks. Fan favorites such as former world champion Avenger, driven by Jim Koehler, two-time world champion Madusa, Bigfoot, driven by veteran Dan Runte, Samson, King Krunch, Gunslinger, Raminator and the Scarlet Bandit, driven by Dawn Cretain, the mother of three daughters, will be in action during the one-night-only event.
The MLMT Presented by the Greater Cincinnati Ford Dealers opens at 3:00 p.m., this Saturday with a Pit Party. Monster trucks will qualify at 4:00 p.m., a FMX motocross demonstration begins at 5:15 p.m., and MLMT Monster and Thunder Truck competition is slated to begin at 7:00 p.m.
