This season is the third straight that we'll play host to a second NNS event. JR Motorsports drivers Regan Smith and Chase Elliott are part of an entertaining four-way battle for the top spot in the championship standings with Joe Gibbs Racing's Elliott Sadler and Richard Childress Racing's Ty Dillon. Smith heads to Saturday's 300-mile Chicagoland Speedway tilt occupying the top spot in the standings, but leads Sadler by a scant eight points. Elliott is third in the standings and 13 points behind Smith while Dillon is 34 points off the lead in fourth. Check out the Chicagoland race beginning at 8:30 p.m., on ESPN 2.
Our 21st ARS event will be 19th on the 20-race series schedule, ensuring championship points will be at a premium. Grant Enfinger, a four-time winner through 10 events this season, enters Saturday's 150-mile race at Chicagoland Speedway holding a 10-point championship edge on the second-place Mason Mitchell. Defending and 10-time series champion Frank Kimmel, a four-time series winner at our speedway, is third in the standings and 210 points off the leading pace. He has eight races to work down his points deficit before making his 21st series start at our track. You see the series up-and-coming talents battle seasoned veterans by tuning to FOX Sports 2 at 6 p.m., Saturday.
