08/11/01Jeff Fultz completed a sweep of the NASCAR Gatorade All Pro Series events at Kentucky Speedway with a convincing win in the 84 WHAS 150 on Saturday. Fultz led the last 63 laps of the race in his No. 54 C&C Boilers/Cleaver Brooks Chevrolet Monte Carlo as he won for the third time in the last four All Pro races.

Driver Finds More Speed For Third Straight Session At KentuckyScott Sharp found more speed in his No. 8 Delphi Automotive Systems Dallara Oldsmobile for the third straight driving session at Kentucky Speedway and took the MBNA Pole for Sunday's Belterra Casino Indy 300. Sharp claimed his third pole of the year after turning his fastest lap at 214.598 mph during the Saturday afternoon qualifying session. -
08/11/01A trio of races on the quarter-mile oval on the infield at Kentucky Speedway highlighted Friday night of a busy weekend in Sparta. Features were run by the Baby Grands Region C Series, ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series and the USAC WORLDCOM National Midget Series. The races ended around 1 a.m. Saturday after rain pushed the start of the races back by more than an hour.

08/10/01Brian Smith broke his own track record as he claimed the pole for the third time in three NASCAR Gatorade All Pro Series races at Kentucky Speedway. The North Carolina native hit a speed of 156.109 MPH in qualifying for Saturday's "WHAS 150," eclipsing his own track record of 152.488 MPH that was set in June.

Cheever turned a top lap of 214.439 MPH in the morning session and followed it up with a lap at 214.434 in the afternoon in the No. 51 Cheever Indy Racing Infiniti Dallara.

06/17/01Robert Huffman claimed his first win of 2001 and did so in historic fashion in Saturday's NASCAR Goody's Dash Series Kentucky 100. Huffman pulled off the closest victory in the short history of Kentucky Speedway by coming from behind to beat Cam Strader by one-quarter car length. The victory for Huffman's Toyota engine marked the first for the manufacturer in the 26 history of the NASCAR Goody's Dash Series.
