Sharp claimed his third pole of the year after turning his fastest lap at 214.598 mph during the Saturday afternoon qualifying session. -

Features were run by the Baby Grands Region C Series, ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series and the USAC WORLDCOM National Midget Series. The races ended around 1 a.m. Saturday after rain pushed the start of the races back by more than an hour.
