NASCAR and country music will come together this summer at Kentucky Speedway. Cincinnati country music station WUBE-FM, B-105, has agreed to sponsor the track's Country Music Stage for both the NASCAR Busch Series and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series weekends. The "B-105 Kentucky Speedway Country Music Stage" will feature three of America's most talented country music artists. The stage will be on the concourse level above Grandstand 1.

"B-105 is excited to bring tri-state racing fans great entertainment on the biggest race weekends of the year at Kentucky Speedway," said Tim Closson, WUBE-FM Program Director. "Country music and racing have always been a great blend. It's only natural that B-105 and Kentucky Speedway continue the tradition."

Saturday night, June 16th, Country Music Star Brad Paisley will perform pre-race on the "B-105 Kentucky Speedway Country Music Stage". The twenty-eight year old, singer-songwriter-guitarist's critically acclaimed debut album for Arista Records/Nashville, WHO NEEDS PICTURES, has been certified platinum (over one million copies sold). Paisley's #1 hits include, "He Didn't Have To Be" and "We Danced." Both were co-penned by him. On February 17th, Paisley was formally inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN and his much-anticipated second album, Part II, is set to be released May 29th, just prior to appearing at Kentucky Speedway™.

In July, the stage comes to life on back-to-back nights. On Friday night, July 13th, Tim Rushlow, the former lead vocalist of Little Texas, will be featured. Rushlow is now out on his own after an intentional two-year hiatus. After spending time with his family away from the music industry, Tim has released his first solo CD TIM RUSHLOW on Atlantic Records; featuring the current top ten single "She Misses Him".

"We are delighted to have B-105 Radio join our partnership team. They have a very large and loyal fan base, and their ability to bring in country singing talent and promote the shows is second to none," said Mark F. Cassis, Executive Vice President and General Manager at Kentucky Speedway.

On Saturday night July 14th, prior to the second annual Kroger 225 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race, Epic recording star Joe Diffie will take the stage to play. He is a singer's singer and a skilled songwriter. Diffie has a vast collection of awards including three gold albums, two platinum and one double platinum. His latest CD is entitled A NIGHT TO REMEMBER.

WUBE-FM has been supplying the tri-state with Good Times, Great Country for over 30 years. In 1998, B-105 won the prestigious Country Music Association Station of the Year Award.
