Big Night In Lexington For Kentucky Speedway
Green flag!!! Lexington embraced the Kentucky Speedway Wednesday night February 7th as it hosted the Lexington Chamber Business Link. The event was held in the Patterson Ballroom at the Hyatt Regency Lexington. Chamber officials estimated the crowd at double a normal Business Link function.
Chairman and Co-Owner Jerry Carroll was on hand to preview the upcoming 2001 Kentucky Speedway season. "It was a wonderful night. The crowd was even bigger than we expected. Lexington is into racing!" said Carroll. "We are going to do more functions like this as we continue to spread the word about this magnificent facility and our great schedule."
The Kentucky Speedway show car was the centerpiece of the room. Plus, the track gave away tickets and merchandise for the upcoming season.
