Six-man modern rock group Carolina Liar will entertain race fans on the Turn 1 Concourse Stage at 6:15 p.m., before tomorrow's IndyCar Series "Meijer Indy 300 Presented by Red Baron and Edy's."

The group combines talents of South Carolina songwriter and vocalist Chad Wolf with an all-Swedish ensemble made up of keyboardist Johan Carlsson, guitarists Rickard Goransson and Jim Almgren Gandra, bassist Erik Haager and drummer Max Grahn.

The sextet released its debut "Coming to Terms" collection in 2008 and its single "I'm Not Over" rose to No. 3 on Billboard Magazine "Hot Modern Tracks Chart." The song also was prominent on the magazine's "Top Heatseekers Chart" and was featured on the soundtrack for the "What Happens in Vegas" motion picture which starred Cameron Diaz and Ashton Kutcher.

The group's second single, "Show Me What I'm Looking For," rose to No. 40 on the "Hot Modern Tracks Chart." It is featured in promotions supporting the Aug. 14 release of the "Time Traveler's Wife" motion picture starring Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams. The song received additional exposure in promotions for this season's Major League Baseball All-Star Game, an episode of the CW Network's "90210," and in an national advertising campaign.

The concert is included with a ticket to tomorrow's doubleheader race day that also includes the IndyCar Series "Meijer Indy 300 Presented by Red Baron and Edy's."

Action begins today when gates open at 5:00 p.m. IndyCar Series and Firestone Indy Lights qualifying precedes a one-hour autograph session beginning at 7:30 p.m. The IndyCar Series returns to the track for final practice at 9:00 p.m.

Gates open at 2:00 p.m., tomorrow. The Firestone Indy Lights "Kentucky Indy Lights 100" leads off the action when it takes the green flag at 5:00 p.m., and the IndyCar Series "Meijer Indy 300 Presented by Red Baron and Edy's" follows the Carolina Liar concert at 8:45 p.m.
