Reality television dad Don Mueller, star of the hit show "Who Wants To Marry My Dad?," will be the grand marshal of "The Belterra Casino Indy 300" Indy Racing League IndyCar Series event at Kentucky Speedway on August 17.

Mueller, his two sons and two daughters are the subjects of a five-part spinoff of the relationship series "Meet My Folks." "Who Wants To Marry My Dad?" creates a scenario in which Mueller's children use surprise guests, secret tasks and lie detector tests to choose their father's next spouse from a group of eight women. The children choose their winning candidate during the series finale on Monday, August 11 on NBC.

The family, which resides in Cincinnati where Mueller owns and operates Mass Marketing, Inc., will greet fans and competitors and sign autographs prior to the race.

"We are honored to have one of Cincinnati's latest television stars with us for our event and extremely interested to learn if Don and his family will be accompanied by his new wife," Kentucky Speedway Executive Vice Presdient and General Manager Mark F. Cassis said. "The Muellers are a terrific family and look forward to meeting our fans and IndyCar Series competitors."

The IRL IndyCar Series will provide a high-speed finale to the 2003 Kentucky Speedway race season when it contests "The Belterra Casino Indy 300" on Sunday, August 17 at 2:00 p.m. The race day also will feature a special pre-race concert by Sixpence None The Richer. The weekend begins Saturday, August 16, with "The Bull Country Radio Pole Day" featuring the IRL Infiniti Pro Series "Kentucky 100" and IRL IndyCar Series qualifying. Speedway gates open both days at 9:00 a.m.

Tickets for both race events are on sale now.
