Clear Channel Cincinnati stations 700 WLW-AM and 1360 HOMER: The Sports Animal (WSAI-AM) are the new "Official Cincinnati Radio Partners of Kentucky Speedway" and will promote the facility's four 2006 race weekends through a combination of live, on-site Tide® Racing Report broadcasts, advertising and promotional Web site links.

Financial details of the partnership were not disclosed. Clear Channel will receive facility and souvenir program advertising, grandstand tickets and other promotional considerations according to the terms of the agreement.

The long-standing 700 WLW-AM Tide® Racing Report will originate from track with popular hosts Bill "SEG" Dennison, Bobby Schmitt and Dennis Neal on July 8 during the speedway's NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series "Built Ford Tough 225 Presented by the Greater Cincinnati Ford Dealers" weekend and August 13 during the track's Indy Racing League weekend. Kentucky Speedway will open its season May 13 with the ARCA RE/MAX Series "Harley-Davidson of Cincinnati 150" at 3:00 p.m. The full day of entertainment will begin with a noon prerace concert with country music quartet Cowboy Crush and also includes the ARCA Lincoln Welders Truck Series "Kentucky 100" on the paved quarter-mile track at 1:30 p.m.

The second 2006 speedway main event is the June 17 "Meijer 300 Presented by Oreo" NASCAR Busch Series race. The speedway will attempt to attract its sixth consecutive sellout crowd for one of the series' highest-paying tour stops. Support events for the upcoming season will spotlight the new USAC Silver Crown Series, ARCA RE/MAX Series, USAC Ford Focus Midget Car Series and IRL Indy Pro Series. Future race-day concerts will include Lonestar June 17, The Charlie Daniels Band July 8 and Hot Apple Pie August 13.
