Country music sensation Chely Wright will entertain race fans at Kentucky Speedway on Saturday, May 11, just prior to the 8:00 p.m. start of the ARCA RE/MAX Series "Channel 5-155."

"Every Kentucky Speedway weekend is an event and a complete family entertainment experience," Kentucky Speedway Special Events Director Lisa Wilson said. "We're excited Chely Wright will be performing on the B-105 (WUBE-FM) Country Sound Stage. Her performance will add even more excitement to the inaugural 'Channel 5-155'." An MCA Nashville recording artist, Wright recently released a new album titled Never Love You Enough, featuring the upbeat hit single, "Jezebel." The video for the song is currently making news on Country Music Television (CMT) as well as Great American Country (GAC). It has reached the No.1 slot at both networks.

Wright made her formal debut on the Nashville music scene in 1997 when she scored the first top-10 hit of her career with the single "Shut Up and Drive" from her album titled Let Me In. Wright has since won the Academy of Country Music Award for Top New Female Vocalist, been part of a successful Crown Royal Tour and earned her first gold record for Single White Female, which contained the No.1 hit of the same name.

Wright also oversees her nonprofit organization, the Reading, Writing & Rhythm Foundation that raises funds and awareness for public school music education.

Fans will need only one ticket to enjoy both the "Channel 5-155" and Wright's performance. She will take the stage at approximately 5:45 p.m.
