Country music star Sammy Kershaw will heat up the WUBE-FM B-105 Country Soundstage on July 12 at Kentucky Speedway with a concert held just prior to "The Built Ford Tough 225 Presented by The Greater Cincinnati Ford Dealers" NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race.

The popular singer and former Ford Motor Company pitch man will take the stage in the speedway's Turn 1 Concourse at 5:30 p.m. The performance is included with the purchase of an event ticket.

The 12-year industry veteran currently displays his multi-platinum, Cajun and country style on his newest release, I Want My Money Back. The popular title single can be heard frequently over country music airwaves across the country. The album also features the songs "Beer Bait and Ammo" and "Are You Having Fun Yet?"

Through his career, Kershaw has displayed the playful side of his personality in the hits "She Don't Know She's Beautiful," "Cadillac Style," "Vidalia" and "Third Rate Romance," while revealing his serious, romantic side in the ballads "Haunted Heart," "Meant To Be," "Love of My Life" and "Politics, Religion and Her."

Kershaw released two albums in 2001 titled The Hits Chapter Two and I Finally Found Someone. The latter is a collection of love ballads, six of which were recorded as duets with his wife and fellow recording artist Lorrie Morgan.

The green flag drops for the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and "The Built Ford Tough 225 Presented by The Greater Cincinnati Ford Dealers" at 8:00 p.m. The race weekend begins on Friday, July 11, with "700 WLW-AM Pole Night" featuring NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series qualifying and "The Kentucky 150" NASCAR Goody's Dash Series race.

Tickets for both evenings of race action still remain and are on sale now. Visit www.kentuckyspeedway.com for complete schedule and ticket information.
