Domino's Pizza, "The Official Pizza of NASCAR," is now the "The Official Pizza of Kentucky Speedway" thanks to a new corporate partnership announced today.

Under the terms of the three-year agreement, Domino's receives category exclusivity, vending rights and signage at the $152-million venue along with grandstand tickets, advertising and other promotional considerations. Financial terms were not disclosed.

"Considering our national association with NASCAR, the Kentucky Speedway partnership creates a natural tie-in for our locally-owned operators," Lou Metro, long-time Domino's Pizza franchisee in the Greater Cincinnati and Dayton markets, said. "We know race fans are also huge fans of great pizza, so this partnership allows Domino's the wonderful opportunity to deliver the great taste of Domino's Pizza to Kentucky Speedway fans."

With more than $4 billion in sales, Domino's Pizza is the largest privately-held restaurant chain and the eighth-largest chain in the world. Domino's operates a network of more than 7,400 corporate-owned and franchised stores in the United States and more than 50 countries. The company employs more than 140,000 associates around the globe, 500 of which service the world resource center in Ann Arbor, Mich.

"Our fans will really enjoy this," Kentucky Speedway Executive Vice President and General Manger Mark F. Cassis said. "Domino's will not only provide great products during our events, but also will include our facility and events in its strategic marketing and promotional plans. Domino's official sponsorship with NASCAR is a perfect fit with similar programs we have in place via NASCAR partners Anheuser-Busch, Coca-Cola, Ford and NEXTEL."

Kentucky Speedway opens its 2004 season May 7-8 with the ARCA RE/MAX Series "Channel 5-205" and American Speed Association "BFGoodrich 125" on hhgregg Pole Night Presented by Coca-Cola. Saturday's event features a pre-race concert with country music artist Sherrie Austin.
