Fans Can Bid on Parade Lap Rides with Sprint Cup Series Stars and Benefit Speedway Children's Charities
Speedway Children's Charities (SCC) Ride of a Lifetime live auction will bring fans the chance to bid on a parade-lap ride with one of 23 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stars during "Quaker State 400" prerace festivities.
The 90-minute auction will be held on the speedway's concourse stage just outside Gate 14 on Friday, June 29 at 4:00 p.m., and registration will begin at noon, at the Kentucky Speedway Chapter's display location outside the speedway gates.
NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers Dale Earnhardt Jr., A.J. Allmendinger, Aric Almirola, Marcos Ambrose, Greg Biffle, Clint Bowyer, Jeff Burton, Kurt Busch, Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards, David Gilliland, Jeff Gordon, Denny Hamlin, Kevin Harvick, Matt Kenseth, Travis Kvapil, Joey Logano, Paul Menard, Ryan Newman, David Ragan, Regan Smith, Tony Stewart and Martin Truex Jr., will donate either all or significant portion of the proceeds from winning bids to the Speedway Children's Charities Kentucky Speedway Chapter in addition to select charities drivers support.
The Ride of a Lifetime auction also will include a wide array of NASCAR memorabilia such as an authentic Charlie 1 Horse hat worn by legendary driver Richard Petty, an autographed Kevin Harvick race helmet and much more.
Speedway's Children's Charities remains true to its 1982 founding ideals to care for children in educational, financial, social and medical need in order to help them lead productive lives. SCC provides funding for hundreds of non-profit organizations throughout the nation to meet the direct needs of children. The SCC vision is that every child has the same opportunities, no matter what obstacle they face.

The Saturday, June 30 "Quaker State 400" anchors a NASCAR tripleheader weekend that opens Thursday, June 28 with the Camping World Truck Series "UNOH 225" and continues Friday, June 29 with the Nationwide Series "Feed The Children 300."
