Fans visiting Kentucky Speedway for the May 9 ARCA RE/MAX Series "Drive Smart. Buckle-Up! Kentucky 150" will be directed to use Interstate 71 Exit 55 for access to general parking.

"As our $13.5-million enhancement project quickly progresses, fans attending our season opening weekend will find the easiest access to our general parking areas through Interstate 71 Exit 55," Kentucky Speedway General Manager Mark Simendinger said.

Speedway parking will open at noon on May 9 and gates will open at 3:00 p.m. ARCA RE/MAX Series "Drive Smart. Buckle-Up! Kentucky 150" qualifying begins at 4:00 p.m., and country music artist Chuck Wicks will take the Turn 1 concert stage at 6:00 p.m. Prerace festivities begin at approximately 7:00 p.m., before more than 40 stock cars take the green flag for the "Drive Smart. Buckle-Up! Kentucky 150" at 8:00 p.m.

Advance race tickets, new infield camping and special offers for the "Drive Smart. Buckle-Up! Kentucky 150" and all 2009 Kentucky Speedway races can be reserved online through the tickets page of this Web site, by phone at 888-652-RACE (7223), or by visiting Meijer stores and the speedway ticket offices at 400 Buttermilk Pike, Suite 100, near the Montgomery Inn Restaurant in Ft. Mitchell, Ky., or in the Sparta, Ky., Fan Center located off of Interstate 71 Exit 57 and Ky. Hwy. 35 N. Tickets also can be reserved at Meijer stores and Tickets.com outlets. Tickets also will be on sale up to race time at the speedway gates.
