NASCAR Goody's Dash Series four-time champion Robert Huffman captured the Bud Pole for tonight's "Kentucky 150" to be held at Kentucky Speedway.

Huffman turned the winning lap in 36.136 seconds at 149.435 mph. The defending series champion spoke about his winless season to date with a new sponsor, Toyota. "I think we can turn it around every week," Huffman said. "I like this track, it's a lot like Charlotte. I think we'll be strong (tonight). We've turned a lot of hours in the car and we're ready to win."

The green flag for the "Kentucky 150" drops after the conclusion of the NASCAR Busch Series "Outback Steakhouse 300." The Busch Series event is expected to draw more than 70,000 people to the speedway and become the largest attended single sporting event in Greater Cincinnati history.
