Michael Waltrip Racing driver Dale Jarrett and his No. 44 UPS NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series team visited Kentucky Speedway today to conclude a two-day test.

The 1999 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series champion began the week ranked 37th in the series standings and has yet to register a top-10 finish this season. He posted his season-best 22nd-place finish in the Daytona 500 and is averaging a 33rd-place finish through five events this season.

He will be on the track in Martinsville, Va., this Sunday where he posted 15th- and 16th-place finishes in two starts last season.

Jarrett, whose schedule did not permit interview time, shared track time and notes with research-and-development program driver Mark Green, who opened the test yesterday.
