Kentucky Speedway™ 2001 Season Tickets To Go On Sale September 25th
The Kentucky Speedway™ having recently completed its first summer session of racing is already gearing up for the 2001 season with the recent announcement of a NASCAR Busch Series date as well as new stops for the United States Auto Club (USAC), and The NASCAR Goody's Dash Series. The speedway announced today a four weekend, ten event race schedule for 2001, which will also see return visits by the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, NASCAR All-Pro Series, Indy Racing Northern Lights Series, as well as The Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA).
"We are very excited about next year. We are still on a high from this year as over 300,000 people came to the speedway to see three weekends of racing and one concert. We have experienced tremendous support, and we can't wait until next year when we will operate our first full season of events," said Mark F. Cassis, Executive VP and General Manager at Kentucky Speedway™.
Beginning Monday, September 25, 2000, fans will be able to purchase the remaining Personal Seat License seats in the "Club" areas in addition to 2001 Season Tickets located throughout the grandstand areas. "Both the PSLs and 2001 Season Tickets are available beginning September 25th. It's a great way to guarantee the fans that they have the same seats for each event and for years to come. We currently have over 14,000 Season Ticket subscribers, and we anticipate all of these being renewed plus adding another 5,000 to 10,000," said Michael Travis, Director of Ticketing at the speedway.
Current Speedway Season Ticket Holders have until December 31, 2000 to renew their seats at which time single event tickets will be placed on sale for the 2001 campaign. A renewal package had been mailed to all current subscribers September 15, 2000.
