Fans have the opportunity to drive their own vehicle around the 1.5-mile Kentucky Speedway tri-oval Saturday, April 13, during the Drive the Track Sale from 9:30 a.m.to 4 p.m.

Visitors who purchase a minimum of $40 on a combination of tickets, camping and Gift Shop merchandise will be able to turn three paced lap at approximately 70 mph. For more information call (859) 567-3419.

Kentucky Speedway’s 14th season gets under way with a NASCAR tripleheader weekend featuring the Sprint Cup Series Quaker State 400 Saturday, June 29. The Camping World Truck Series opens the weekend Thursday, June 27 with the UNOH 225 that will be followed by the Nationwide Series Feed The Children 300 on Friday, June 28.

Racing continues in September when NASCAR Nationwide Series drivers battle in a 300-mile Sept. 21 tilt. The doubleheader weekend begins Sept. 20 with 150 miles of ARCA Racing Series (ARS) action.  The series makes its 20th all-time appearance at the speedway and first since 2009.
