The Kentucky Speedway™ has always wanted to ensure each of its sponsors the opportunity to get the most for their investment. To help do so, the speedway in conjunction with IEG, Inc., a leader in the sponsorship promotional industry hosted a one-day sponsorship seminar Friday, October 13th at the track in Sparta, KY.

Facilitating the seminar was Jim Andrews Vice President of IEG. The Chicago based company is the only full-time tracking and reporting organization in the field of event marketing and corporate sponsorship. Andrew has been a featured speaker at dozens of sports, arts and marketing conferences throughout the world on behalf of IEG. He shared his expertise with the Kentucky Speedway sponsors at the seminar. Plus, Andrews led the sponsor's in-group dialogue to help collectively exchange ideas to better utilize their investment.

"It was an exciting day to have the opportunity for each of our clients to learn how to get more out of their motorsports sponsorship dollars, and to have the chance to network with other companies involved at the speedway," said Lisa A. Wilson, Director of Sales and Marketing at Kentucky Speedway™.

Kentucky Speedway is the only super speedway to open in 2000. Over 300,000 fans attended race events at the new 1.5-mile tri-oval in Gallatin County, 40 miles south of Cincinnati, Ohio off I-71.
