Kentucky Speedway Unveils Flexible Ticket Plans For 2004
Kentucky Speedway fans can exercise flexible options and benefit from special discounts by purchasing a 2004 season ticket plan.
Kentucky Speedway season ticket plans are on sale now and range in price from $200 to $320 depending on seat location. All season ticket seats are located near the Start/Finish Line in the Tower Grandstand or Grandstands 3 and 4 to ensure members will be close to all the on-track action.
"Clearly, as we approach our fifth season of racing, this is our best plan yet. We are offering season ticket members the best seats and more flexibility as members can now select the Pole events they wish to attend. Also, with the addition of 'Meijer Family Discount Nights,' season ticket members can bring the entire family to the track at reduced prices," Kentucky Speedway Executive Vice President and General Manager Mark F. Cassis said.
Season ticket members receive a reserved seat for all main race events and a preferred parking pass. Parking passes can be exchanged on race weekends for free admission to the speedway general camping areas. Members also receive two "Buddy Passes" for each season ticket account they own. "Buddy Passes" can be redeemed for admission to any 2004 Pole event. In addition, members can purchase Pole event tickets at half price and save 50 percent on a four-day concert pass to Country Stampede II when they order either with their race season ticket plan.
Thanks to the addition of "Meijer Family Discount Nights," general admission Pole event tickets will be reduced from $30 to $20 and children age 12 and under will admitted free to those events. Children also will receive free admission to the "Cold Pit" Area during all 2004 race events.
Reserved RV area guests can receive a $175 discount by purchasing a five-weekend season camping pass. Reserved RV areas are located between Turns 1 and 2 and will offer more amenities in 2004 including enhanced base surfaces and grass areas.
Changes in speedway event policies for 2004 include a $5.00 increase in the price of all main event tickets. In addition, all single-event tickets purchased on race day will cost an additional $5.00, "Cold Pit Passes" will be sold for $20, and spots in the General Camping Areas will be sold for $30. Also, in the interest of increased fan security and safety, the speedway will no longer allow fans to exit and re-enter the facility during its race events.
"While we have discounted our Pole event tickets and provided increased flexibility in our ticket plans, we have had to increase our prices in certain areas for events. Our new event management policies are consistent with what fans experience at other sports and entertainment venues. I'm confident our fans will understand," Cassis said.
