SPARTA, Ky. - Kentucky Speedway welcomes Outback Steakhouse as a new corporate partner for the venue's 2014 season which includes five races across two weekends.

Kentucky Speedway will extend Outback Steakhouse offers to guests as well as messaging to a brand-loyal NASCAR audience through traditional, digital and social media marketing.

"This partnership represents a return to our speedway's roots, as Outback principal Chris Sullivan, a Univ. of Kentucky alumnus, was one of investing partners which constructed and opened our facility in 2000. We are happy to drive the best fans in NASCAR to Outback restaurants across the region," said Kentucky Speedway Vice President of Sales and Marketing, John Cox.

Race fans visiting the speedway during the June 26-28 NASCAR tripleheader weekend or Sept 19-20 two-race weekend will be able to take advantage of Outback Steakhouse promotional offers on back of speedway tickets and on ticket envelopes.                            

Kentucky Speedway's social media promotions will coincide with Outback Steakhouse's long-standing Bloomin' Onion promotion. When Sprint Cup Series driver Kevin Harvick places in the top 10 in a race, NASCAR and Outback Steakhouse fans will receive a free Bloomin' Onion with any purchase the Monday following the race.

Kentucky Speedway guests also will see the restaurant's notable presence throughout the facility by way of signage, video boards along and sampling at exit gates.

The ticket office is open Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
