Three Kentucky Speedway 600 Racing Legend Series drivers earned berths in series Asphalt Nationals in Las Vegas Oct. 25-28 by winning their respective division qualifying races at Kentucky Speedway this past weekend.

Pro Division champion Jeep Pflum, of Cincinnati, Ohio, Semi-Pro Division champ Kyle Hatfield of Louisville, Ky., and Master Division winner Jerry Chafton of Bowling Green, Ky., all earned their titles on Sunday, Oct. 14, on the Kentucky Speedway quarter-mile track. The weekend's events conclude Legends racing at Kentucky Speedway for 2001.

"This year was our first with the 600 Racing Legends Series and it's been very positive for the track and our regional drivers," Mark F. Cassis, Kentucky Speedway executive vice president and general manager, said. "We've seen steady growth and interest in the series and we're happy our speedway was a showcase the top drivers in our region."
