Kentucky Speedway announced today that it has extended its corporate partnership contract with KOI Auto Parts, making the company "The Official Auto Parts Store of Kentucky Speedway" through the year 2005.

"KOI is a terrific partner because it enhances our presence in our primary markets located in Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana," Kentucky Speedway Executive Vice President and General Manager Mark F. Cassis said. "KOI is a well-known, respected company, and we're delighted to have this opportunity in continuing our marketing partnership as they have been fantastic in helping us promote events in their stores and at the track."

KOI Auto Parts "Sells The Parts That Power Racing" in more than 50 locations throughout Greater Cincinnati. KOI also is the title sponsor of the annual "Cavalcade of Customs" Auto Show in Cincinnati, and a major supporter of the Automotive Service Association.

"Speedway customers are our core customers. Our Kentucky Speedway partnership helps us directly hit our target market more than any other form of media because of our signage, display and hospitality options," KOI Auto Parts Officer Dave Wesselman said.

The $152-million Kentucky Speedway opens its 2002 season May 10-11 with a Friday evening "Short Track Special" and the ARCA RE/MAX Series "The Channel 5-155" on Saturday evening.
