SPARTA, Ky. - The Kentucky Speedway Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities will present its "Dinner with Jeff Hammond" fundraising event Monday, June 15 in the Receptions Banquet Center at 1379 Donaldson Hwy., in Erlanger, Ky., from 6 p.m.-9 p.m.

The evening will feature an appearance by NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) driver Trevor Bayne, who became the youngest Daytona 500 champion at age 20 years and one day in 2011, a question-and-answer session with FOX Sports NASCAR analyst Hammond, who served as crew chief during Darrell Waltrip's 1985 and 1982 NSCS championship seasons, along with dinner and a silent auction. Guests also will receive a commemorative gift.

Event proceeds will benefit the Kentucky Speedway Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities. The chapter awards grant funding to non-profit children's organizations in Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana which care for children in educational, financial, social or medical need to help them lead productive lives.
