The Red Horse Racing No. 11 Surface Sunscreen machine of Brett Moffitt who is substituting for Matt Tifft after he underwent surgery to remove a low-grade glioma in the brain, topped the charts in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) final practice.

Moffitt is one of 18 drivers that was faster than the current series track qualifying record, 179.868 mph (30.022 seconds) which was set by Austin Dillon on Oct. 1, 2011.

Kyle Busch Motorsports trucks had a strong showing in final practice with three of its four cars being in the top 10.

The No. 18 truck of Kyle Busch, the only driver attempting the triple (NCWTS Buckle Up in Your Truck 225, NASCAR XFINITY Series Alsco 300,  NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Quaker State 400 presented by Advance Auto Parts) this weekend, nailed down a 29.446 seconds lap (183.387 mph) scoring him third in final practice behind three-time NCWTS winner this season, William Byron.

Byron, who is making his NCWTS Kentucky debut, clocked a 29.387seconds lap (183.755 mph) coming in second in final practice.

Cole Custer, Brandon Jones, Daniel Suarez, Travis Kvapil, will attempt will be attempting the double as they all try to qualify for the Buckle Up in Your Truck 225 and the Alsco 300.

NASCAR Camping World Truck Series are back on track tomorrow at 5 p.m., for the Magpul Qualifying for the Buckle Up in Your Truck 225.
