Brewco Motorsports NASCAR Busch Series driver Jamie McMurray will be on hand to meet media and comment on Kentucky Speedway's NASCAR Busch Series sponsorship announcement on April 16 at 11:30 a.m.

McMurray captains the No. 27 Williams Travel Center Chevrolet and enters the week 13th in the series points standings after posting a season-best sixth-place finish at Nashville on Saturday, April 13. He took his first top-10 of the season at Darlington in the fourth event of the season where he finished ninth.

McMurray drove to a 10th place finish in last season's 300-mile race inaugural series event at Kentucky, just two spots behind then teammate Kevin Grubb in eighth. McMurray closed the 2001 season 16th in the points race with three top-10 finishes.

McMurray's teammate, Jeff Purvis, gave the team its first win of the season and second win the history of Brewco Motorsports when Purvis piloted his No. 37 Timber Wolf Chevrolet to victory in the rain-shortened 300-mile race at Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday, April 6.

Brewco Motorsports is based in Central City, Ky., and has fielded at least one entry in the NASCAR Busch Grand National Series since 1996. Other well-known drivers that have carried the Brewco banner have included Owensboro, Ky., native Mark Green and Casey Atwood.
