Persistent showers hovering over Kentucky Speedway forced the postponement of the NASCAR Busch Series "Kroger 300 Presented by Oreo" and NASCAR Goody's Dash Series "700 WLW 100" races.

NASCAR Busch Series drivers had completed 86 laps before heavy showers began just after 9:00 p.m. Greg Biffle, in the No. 60 Grainger Ford, held the lead over the second-place Jason Keller in the No. 57 Albertsons Ford. Jay Sauter was in third in the No. 21 Rockwell Automation Chevrolet. Drivers will restart the race from their current positions.

NASCAR Busch Series race action will resume at 1:00 p.m. tomorrow and "The 700 WLW 100" will follow.

Speedway gates will open at 11:00 a.m. Fans who held tickets for this evening's events will be able to exchange their ticket stubs for a general admission grandstand ticket for both June 16 events. Exchanges will be made at the speedway's main ticket booth at Gate 16. The speedway suite and club levels will be closed. General admission tickets also will be available for $30 at the speedway's main ticket booth.

The FX Network will broadcast the remainder of "The Kroger 300 Presented by Oreo" on tape delay beginning at 5:30 p.m., or following FOX Network coverage of the NASCAR Winston Cup Series race in Brooklyn, Mich.
