Today's NASCAR Nationwide Series practice sessions at Kentucky Speedway have been cancelled due to rain.

Sessions will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. tomorrow and will not be open to the public. Fans can view practice from the designated area located outside the speedway Fan Center near Turn 3 at no charge.

Tomorrow's fan-related activity schedule will not change. Speedway gates will open at 2:00 p.m. NASCAR Nationwide Series drivers take to the track for "Meijer 300 Presented by Oreo" qualifying at 5:10 p.m., rock group Smash Mouth will be in concert at 6:30 p.m., on the Turn 1 Concourse and race Honorary Starter and Univ. of Louisville Basketball Coach Rick Pitino will send 43 cars racing at 8:30 p.m. The speedway will team with the U.S. Border Patrol to provide fans small American flags in honor of Flag Day and Nick Lachey's Team Cincinnati Choir will sing the national anthem.

The "Meijer 300 Presented by Oreo" is scheduled to feature current NASCAR Sprint Cup Series standings leader Kyle Busch, defending Nationwide Series Champion Carl Edwards, current NASCAR Nationwide Series standings leader Clint Bowyer, David Ragan and David Reutimann. NASCAR Nationwide Series regulars Stephen Leicht and David Gilliland earned respective upset victories in 2007 and 2006.

Standing-room-only tickets remain and can be reserved for $40 at the speedway main entrance beginning at 2:00 p.m. tomorrow.

Individual tickets for today's activities may be exchanged for either one ticket to the July 18 ARCA RE/MAX Series "Kentucky 150" or two tickets to the Aug. 8 IndyCar Series Fanfest that will feature practice as well as a garage-area autograph sessions. Exchanges can be made through the Kentucky Speedway ticket offices at 400 Buttermilk Pike, Suite 100, in Ft. Mitchell, Ky., next to the Montgomery Inn Restaurant or the Fan Center. Tickets also may be exchanged at the speedway main entrance on either event day.
