SPARTA, Ky.  - The Quaker State 400 presented by Advance Auto Parts will return to the Bluegrass State for the sixth time Saturday night July 9, 2016 to anchor another NASCAR tripleheader weekend. The weekend opens with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series on Thursday, July 7, followed by the NASCAR XFINITY Series on Friday, July 8. "We are thrilled to maintain our summer race weekend at the end of the holiday week," said Kentucky Speedway general manager Mark Simendinger. "We had an overwhelmingly positive response to this weekend in 2015 and our primary goal was to retain this date."

"We are proud of our association with the ARCA Racing Series and excited to host them again in 2016. Past ARCA winners at Kentucky include Kyle Busch, Ryan Newman and Ricky Stenhouse Jr. It has been a notable starting point for some great careers," said General Manager Mark Simendinger.
