Parker Kligerman driving the No. 05 Jive Communication/Zaxby's truck, who is subbing for John Wes Townley, turned a 30.151 seconds lap in the first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Buckle Up in Your Truck 225 practice.

"It is incredibly different. It's not even the same racetrack. I can’t believe we are in Kentucky, said Kligerman. "The old one was worn out and bumpy. This one is smooth, just coming into age here. We got a little different Turn 1 and Turn 2. Turn 3 and Turn 4 is classic Kentucky - it is always really unique. It’s exactly the same, just fewer bumps. It’s really fast, and I think it will be a really interesting weekend for all three series."

Kyle Busch Motorsports' William Byron turned a 179.075 mph lap, followed by the No. 18 truck of Kyle Busch with a 178.636 mph lap time.
