Approximately 130 civic, social and cause-oriented groups were able to raise a combined $700,000.00 by working Kentucky Speedway race events in 2011 and the facility is now accepting applications for groups to work its five 2012 NASCAR events.

The speedway is in search of organizations made up of energetic members who wish to deliver world-class customer service while managing various aspects of our race day operations.

Our five NASCAR races provide a unique and fun way to help groups reach financial goals while creating a great entertainment experience the most passionate race fans in the business.

Here are comments from groups that have worked with us in the past:

"We use our money to fund many areas of our department. We have purchased a cheerleading mat, uniforms for our cross country, volleyball, baseball and softball teams and practice gear for our boys and girls basketball team," -High School Athletic Director

"By working your events, we were able to make a large dent in our $75,000 budget for our school marching band. Funds have helped to pay for instructors, props, uniforms, competition fees and a down payment on a new trailer for our equipment. We are very grateful for the chance to work your events," - Band Booster President

"Our PTSA earned money for our after prom party and provide a safe, fun place for our students to make memories before graduating," - PTSA President.

"Money our group raised went directly to supplies for our teachers," -School Board Administrator
