Kentucky Speedway will complement its June 27-29, 2013 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) Quaker State 400 tripleheader weekend with a second 300-mile NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) event Sept. 21.

The September battle will mark the 15th 300-mile NNS event in speedway history. Rising Richard Childress Racing star Austin Dillon became the first driver to earn a two-race, single-season NNS sweep when he visited Victory Lane on June 29 and Sept. 22 this year. Joey Logano earned three consecutive 300-mile NNS victories at the speedway on June 14, 2008, June 13, 2009 and June 12, 2010. Other notable NNS winners at the speedway also include Greg Biffle, Todd Bodine, Kyle Busch, Brad Keselowski, Carl Edwards and Kevin Harvick.

The speedway’s first event weekend opens June 27 with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) UNOH 225. Competition will continue June 28 with the NNS Feed The Children 300 before defending Quaker State 400 champion Brad Keselowski battles inaugural race winner Kyle Busch and fellow stars Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Tony Stewart and more fan favorites in a prime time June 29.
