Speedway Awards RPDE Rookie Experiences to Four Lucky Fans
Four lucky fans will receive a Rookie Experience from the Richard Petty Driving Experience after participating in a promotion created for the opening day of 2006 Kentucky Speedway single race ticket sales on Jan. 7.
Michael Burkhart, Larry Curtis, Melinda Fleckinger and Christopher James will drive eight laps around the 1.5-mile tri-oval at the speedway in a 600-horsepower, NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series style car in the near future. Each became eligible to receive the experience by either mailing in an entry or reserving race tickets on the opening day.
Main events on the 2006 Kentucky Speedway schedule feature the ARCA RE/MAX Series, NASCAR Busch Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and Indy Racing League IndyCar Series races. Support events will spotlight the new USAC Silver Crown Series, ARCA RE/MAX Series, USAC Ford Focus Midget Car Series and IRL Menards Infiniti Pro Series.

Tickets for support events will be $20 and main event tickets will range from $35 to $80 depending on event and seat location.
