Hundreds of fans converged on Kentucky Speedway's Turn 3 Fan Center Gift Shop for the final "Drive The Track Sale" of 2002 and their chance to turn laps on the 1.5-mile superspeedway.

A wide array of vehicles including a replica Dale Earnhardt, Sr., No. 3 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, the "Racezilla" school bus, classic Porsche models, corvettes and Ford Tauruses tested the race grooves for up to four laps behind speedway pace vehicles. Cincinnati's WUBE B-105 FM also was on hand broadcasting live and giving away prizes.

The speedway's next "Drive The Track Sale" will commence in the spring. Visit www.kentuckyspeedway.com and join our fan e-mail list to receive updates.

The 2003 Kentucky Speedway season begins May 9-10 when the ARCA RE/MAX Series makes its only appearance at the speedway to stage "The Channel 5-205." The race sets up a rematch between 2002 Rookie-of-the-Year Chad Blount and the first four-time champion in ARCA history, Frank Kimmel, who both took wins at Kentucky last season.

Season packages for Kentucky Speedway's upcoming season are on sale now and can be reserved by calling 1-888-652- 888-652-RACE. Single event ticket sales begin Monday, January 6, 2003. Phone Kentucky Speedway or visit our Web site for details.
