Fans visited with Kentucky Speedway to learn more about the venue's Holiday Offer, 2014 season and single-race tickets as well as camping during the Cincinnati Reds official winter Redsfest warm-up in Cincinnati's Duke Energy Center.
Kentucky Speedway mascot Horsepower played host to visitors who enjoyed testing their skills on a race simulator and greeting Reds mascots Mr. Red, Mr. Redlegs, Gapper and Rosie Red. The speedway room was the site of an autograph session with catcher Corky Miller and newly-acquired pitcher David Holmberg and children were able to have fun with a coloring activity.
The two-weekend, five-race 2014 speedway season spotlights the June 28 Quaker State 400 presented by Advance Auto Parts. The fourth NASCAR Sprint Cup Series (NSCS) event in our venue's history closes out an opening weekend that begins with the June 26 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) UNOH 225 and continues with a June 27 NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) 300-mile event.
A second speedway weekend will begins with the Sept. 19 ARCA Racing Series ZLOOP 150. The stock car event will be followed by a Sept. 20 300-mile NNS tilt that will play an important role in deciding which driver will capture the series crown.
The speedway's $199 Holiday Offer was a popular topic of conversation among fans. The value-packed offer includes two tower tickets for the Quaker State 400 presented by Advance Auto Parts, a FanVision unit fans will own and a free activation for each race of the opening weekend.
Fans also learned more about the speedway's new simplified five-race season, weekend and single-race ticket price structure that features lower prices in most sections. Guests also learned the benefits of rounding out their speedway experience with a campsites.
