Kentucky Speedway and Big Ass Fans have launched an initiative to provide enhanced patron comfort during this year's Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Quaker State 400 presented by Walmart race weekend July 11-13. Big Ass Fans will be the "Official Comfort Provider" at the track.

"We are constantly trying to elevate our guest experience at Kentucky Speedway and partnering with our Lexington, Kentucky neighbor, Big Ass Fans, to create a more pleasant outdoor experience throughout the facility is a perfect example of those efforts," said Mark Simendinger, General Manager of Kentucky Speedway. "It's common for outdoor venues to acknowledge that Mother Nature is the one element out of event management's control; however, we are excited to be an innovation leader by tapping into the expertise of Big Ass Fans to find solutions to one of those Mother Nature elements…heat!"

In addition to the designation of being the "Official Comfort Provider" at Kentucky Speedway, Big Ass Fans will be prominent at the track's VIP Check-In along with other key locations throughout the venue.

"We couldn't be more excited and proud to serve our neighbors, friends and customers," says Lennie Rhoades, Big Ass Fans CEO. "Kentucky Speedway has been known as one of the most unique stops on the circuit and this year, it'll be the coolest stop."

Action begins at Kentucky Speedway in July with the NASCAR tripleheader weekend anchored by the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Quaker State 400 presented by Walmart on Saturday, July 13. The Gander Outdoors Truck Series Buckle Up in Your Truck 225 starts the weekend on Thursday, July 11 and the Xfinity Series Alsco 300 is Friday, July 12.

About Big Ass Fans:

In 1999, Big Ass Fans pioneered the high-volume, low-speed (HVLS) fan industry by introducing large industrial fans to agricultural spaces. Recognizing the fans' versatility, our customers began to install them in warehouses, factories, commercial spaces, and homes. With each new application, our engineers set out to design the perfect solution to meet our customers' needs.

Our dedication to research, design, and innovation led us to build a 45,000 square foot R&D lab dedicated to large air movement, conduct an airflow experiment on the International Space Station, develop the industry's first silent motor technology, smart fan controls and automation, and the world's brightest and most efficient LED products.
